Phantasy Star Online 2's big update is only 1 month away. Here's what content players can look ahead to when Episode 4 releases. August is slowly creeping up, and PSO2 Meseta for sale with it will come Phantasy Star Online 2 North America's next big upgrade. Sega has teased the game's first major upgrade since launching on Twitter. If you've never played the Japanese version of PSO2, it might look a little crazy, but only because it is a significant departure from Episodes One through Three. There's a lot of new content about the way and a few huge changes.
Rather than continuing with Xiao or even the Dark Falz plots, players can cross to Earth at Phantasy Star Online 2. In the game, Earth exists and behaves as a transport between the measurements. Episode Four follows similar plot lines to popular anime series such as Sword Art Online or Accel World where video game characters cross around Earth, and people with a specific affinity can input PSO2. It is a strange, light-hearted change from the sci-fi, equilibrium of the cosmos episodes that players have experienced up to now.
In true arcade style, the key characters are mostly of high schoolers with this special affinity, and strange events start to occur around them. On the PSO2 side, you are going to meet some new characters and find older ones return, although most don't have a significant role. A lot of the plot takes place on Earth and entails discovering the schedule of a high tech business, which eventually culminates in a lore link to PSO2's world. It's mostly a one-off Episode, but the connection to Earth remains forever open on earth of PSO2. Since players are traveling to Earth, you will find new Earth-related locales and enemies. One has already been released in the form of the Urgent Quest, Virtual Planet Battle Training. This area, modeled after Las Vegas, will be one of the new primary places where Episode Four's Quests will occur. Another new principal location is the roads of Toyko, though it is not clear whether Sega plans to change this for the North American audience. There are also other places for the story and new Urgent Quests, like the Moon.
As they don't exist within this world, enemies around Earth aren't Dark Falz. Alternatively, you'll see enemies called Phantoms, that come in several distinct types from Clowns to Steamrollers. They are primarily weak to the end element, such as directors, but there are exceptions. The bosses are either powerful humans or Kaiju variations of Earth objects like a three-headed subway railway, so expect to buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta find some craziness.
