Thanks to Pusha T, the Adidas EQT Womens has gained relevance once again. Now that the retro runner has re-established itself to some degree, the brand is re-introducing the OG “Racing Green” colorway but with some sick upgrades to the shoe that in some ways, pays tribute to Pusha’s two collaborations. The colorway here is what you’d expect, but the heightened level of materials like the suede and snake-skin is not.
adidas relaunched its 90s era Equipment label in a big way by bringing back the iconic Adidas EQT Mens recently. Between the Guidance and Support, a number of awesome collaborations have transformed two of the best silhouettes from 1993 into awesome lifestyle options. Now adidas is harkening back to three regions that helped spread the Adidas EQT White love by paying homage to Tokyo, Portland, and the three stripe’s original country of Germany. Each colorway brings something new to the forefront, whether it be a tonal suede quality belonging to the forrest green Germany pair, a subtle nubuck camouflage pattern paired with an OG inspired teal on the Tokyo edition, and fuse and sweatpant-like greyscale on Portland’s reminiscent of those Nike Tech Fleece choices.
One of the premier models that adidas has been working with lately is the Adidas EQT Black, and today we get another impressive color way perfect for the gloomy Autumn days. Black, grey and white looks good on any shoe really, but the color blocking on this EQT is superb, with an upper composed of light grey suede, with hints of black across the toe box and side panel. A white midsole provides a stark contrast against the darker shades of the rest of the sneaker, making this yet another hit from adidas.
