Nike Air Force 1 Iridescent Multi-Swoosh offer a multitude of Swooshes splayed across their monochromatic bases. Apart from standard Swooshes on the quarter panels, there’s also the front half of a Swoosh on both sides of the forefoot, which then disappears into the midsole before resurfacing towards the heel for a doubled-up detail. These checks are coated in everything from an oil slick-like iridescent material to a crackling black print and a high-gloss gold sheen. Tongue tags and heel tabs opt for more iridescent materials, and both looks are rounded off by traditional midsoles and outsoles.
Jordan Release Dates 2021 is constructed from renewable grey Space Waste yarn, a driving factor in Nike‘s Move to Zero initiative. This yarn is made of everything from recycled bottles to t-shirt and yarn scraps, a “leave nothing behind” ethos that’s continued on the rest of the build. Midsoles are dressed in a soft grey — save for the 04, which opts for a light sky blue — and made of Crater Foam, which combines recycled ZoomX foam for comfort with NikeGrind rubber to provide signature flecked details.
New Jordan features include an upper that nods to previous Nike sporting releases, including basketball’s Zoom HyperRev and the 1984 Nike Mac Attack (as worn by John McEnroe). Lastly, the upper’s translucent woven mesh is a reference to modern running silhouettes, while its “Turbo” name refers to the Swoosh’s previous running innovations. The sneaker is finished with a NikeCourt embroidered logo on its heel, as well as an Air Zoom tongue tab and a GP Turbo-branded footbed.
