It's difficult to say as somebody who has played each iteration of runescape since 2003, but it really is an extremely in-depth game that offers you literally thousands of hours of OSRS gold potential fun if the images and play style of runescape are to your liking. It's still extremely populated, and the community makes amazing content like the"Swampletics" show on YouTube and a subreddit full of jokes, memes, and discussion. My favourite part of runescape is the fact that it enables me to play I want. If I'm seeing a show/movie together with my spouse, I can fletchfish, craft, mine, or perform other similar skills that don't need as much attention, but nevertheless develop my personality. On the flip side, if I need fast paced gameplay, I can go smack on some equipment and go kill one of many supervisors in runescape, or move try my hand in killing other real runescape players at an entirely pvp subject of the planet's map called the wilderness.
Between 2004 and 2007 I played Runescape constantly. I was having some health issues and so spent a lot at home in bed so I had a good deal of time to perform. This was until they left the rules about trading to stop purchase of gold for real cash so that you could trade unlimited items. I was a smith, that was one of the most difficult skills to train, and that I was one of the greatest levels that there were. I also had bow making along with other weapons. So to be fine, occasionally I would run down Lumbridge which was the place were all people spawned when they began runescape, or Varrock, that was the nearest town, and locate the low level folks.
I would make. I'd create some mid-level (mithril) armor, weapons, a bow and some arrows, and then throw in 10,000 gold roughly. Many people were incredibly grateful and could be simply shocked. It had been nothing to me, as I had countless mined and gold and made all of the things myself. It took a while but it had been worth it to see how happy it made folks. I also recalled how amazing it was when somebody was fine to me early on, so I needed to cover it forward.
However, there will always be people who would whine. "Oh can't you make me a better armor? Can not you make me a few rune stuff?" It was shocking to me as a teen to find people act like this. Initially I'd just say"sorry no" then leave them, but after awhile I started saying alright, give me back what I gave you and I'll go make some thing better, then I'd take off. It was always amusing to buy runescape gp with discount coupon look them following me about a little and getting angry when I didn't. Just a small revenge.
