Yes and no. The expansion which OSRS gold we were presented with throughout the Land from Time preview is for RuneScape 3. The new version which also employs the much better NXT client. Graphically a good deal nicer than Old School and therefore more chances to tune the world of Gielinor.

So people no longer needed to draw, shape, animate and then place every thing, but earlier things might be Cheap Rs gold recycled. This saves time and so the focus may be set on the island itself.
Big and full of living creatures (that can not only be searched, there's also plenty to do for slayers), which naturally must all be given shape. Occasionally it requires some time to find the place where you have to click to scale underneath or above something, but there is little to complain: Anachronia looks amazing.

OSRS split off the street that RuneScape had shot and returned to the 2007 version.
