Jordans 2017 continues their annual holiday tradition this year with not one, but a duo of Air Jordan 11 releases. The first of the two, which we view here today, is the Air Jordan 11 "Navy" which honors Michael Jordan's time at the University of North Carolina. Believed to be inspired by Michael Jordan's alma mater, this Air Jordan 11 Mid features a white ballistic nylon mesh on the upper with Midnight Navy detailing on the OG patent leather mudguard, inner liner, heel, and the branding on the tongue. The Jumpman on the ankle and tongue are done in University Blue to complete the UNC connection. Down below we have a white midsole and icy blue translucent outsole to wrap things up.
New Jordans 2016, The Air Jordan 11 is by far one of the best-selling shoes every year. For the 2017, Jordan Brand will be kicking off the holiday season with the Air Jordan 11 Navy colorway. This release comes in a UNC-inspired color scheme of White, Midnight Navy, and University Blue. At first glance, they even resemble the iconic "Concord" Air Jordan 11s. Featuring a White mesh upper with leather on the heel. A Midnight Navy patent leather mudguard, matching inner liner and University Blue accents on the Jumpman logo adds for a nice contrast. Completing the design is a clean White midsole and icy translucent outsole.
The Air Jordan 11 is one of the most popular silhouettes in the entire New Jordans 2018 catalog, and we will be seeing a lot more of the shoe as 2017 rolls on. Reported to be titled the Air Jordan 11 "UNC," the shoe of course pulls from an earlier "Navy" Air Jordan 11 sample. Its Midnight Navy hued patent leather wraps a white Cordura mesh upper while a University Blue Jumpman logo marks the heel. The sneaker features a white canvas-like upper and tongue equipped with matching laces and smooth leather on the heel. The pristine base is wrapped in a "Midnight Navy" patent leather mudguard atop a white midsole and icy translucent sole unit. Additional navy tones cover the silhouette's Jumpman, tongue patch, and sock liner and complete the all-new Air Jordan 11 colorway.
